Signature Events: Celebrate and Unite

These are the flagship gatherings that make the community come alive. Major events to make a statement, celebrate women’s rights or represent FFGVA at national events like the Women’s Wave at the UCI World Championships in Sion, where we took part in the record for the longest women’s peloton.

  • Style: Festive, committed, community-driven
  • Level: Open to all (very easy pace)
  • Examples: March 8th Ride with the TDFF Heritage programme, Women’s Wave, Tour de Romandie women’s edition, Pride rides

Discovery: Off the Beaten Track

Velodrome, pumptrack, gravel, mountain biking… FFGVA organises one-off events to discover disciplines beyond road cycling. A chance to try new sensations, step out of your comfort zone and have fun, always with friends.

  • Level: Everyone welcome, no experience needed
  • Examples: Velodrome, pumptrack, gravel, mountain biking, spinning

Races: Push Yourself Together

Sportives, team races, relays… Whether for fun or competition, FFGVA encourages its members to take on sporting events. We sign up together, train together and cross the finish line together.

  • Examples: L’Étape du Tour, La Classique Genevoise, Critérium Genevois, Tour des Stations…

Cycling film screenings, inspiring talks, themed get-togethers… Moments to share off the bike, fuelling our passion and strengthening the bonds within our community.
